Ozo Innovations announces Dr Mark Poole as new CEO

Ozo Innovations, the smart, sustainable hygiene solutions provider, has announced Dr Mark Poole as its new CEO.

After joining in 2019 as Chief Product Officer, Mark led the transformation of Ozo’s technology platform, enabling the production of hygiene solution ‘eloclear’ at scale with a significantly lower cost of manufacture and ownership.

Mark has a strong track record of commercialising innovative and sustainable products and technologies in the chemicals and advanced materials sector, having previously held senior positions at market leaders including Rohm & Haas, U-POL Ltd and DB Group. Commenting on the appointment, Mark said: “Ozo, with its electrochemical solutions, is well positioned to help every industry, but especially the food sector, to improve their operational performance whilst meeting their sustainability and carbon net zero targets. I am delighted to be stepping into the role of CEO to lead Ozo’s next phase of growth.”

Tania Howarth, non-executive chair, said, “Mark has already demonstrated his capability over the last three years, transforming the technology platform, and positioning us to realise the potential value we can create for our customers.

“In the last two years Ozo has been successful in raising additional capital, building new customer partnerships and with our focus now clear on meeting the sustainability and Carbon Net Zero ambitions of global food organisations. The Board welcomes Mark to lead the business”.
