Simplify your approach to hygiene, maximising safety and minimising waste without sacrificing microbial control. Ozo is improving hygiene outcomes for its customers through the delivery of its effective, efficient and sustainable hygiene solutions.
As businesses prioritise the safety of their employees and customers, the emphasis on a thorough, effective hygiene process has never been higher. For cleaning to be truly effective, the process needs to be simple and the disinfection efficacy must be sufficient to meet stringent health and safety standards.
eloclear™ has been independently tested for antimicrobial efficacy against bacteria, yeast, fungi, mould and viruses, giving you full microbial control and confidence in the effectiveness of your hygiene process.
For disinfection against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), the World Health Organisation and UK government recommend a concentration of 1,000 ppm of free available chlorine (FAC). eloclear™ demonstrated full efficacy against enveloped viruses including SARS-CoV2, at 1,000 and 2,000 ppm, with a 30 second contact time.
The product passes the following standardised efficacy tests in clean and dirty test conditions:
*EN14476 2013 +A2:2019 & **EN14476 2013 + A1:2015 provide full spectrum efficacy against enveloped and betacorona viruses that include human coronavirus such as SARS-CoV-2
We understand the importance of regulatory compliance, for our customers as well as our own business. As a result, we ensure that our products are fully compliant before we put them on the market.
Our electrolysed water solution, eloclear™, is produced in-situ within our elocube™ or elosystem™, at the ready-to-use concentration of between 1,800-2,100 ppm.
As an in-situ generated biocide, the product is within the scope of the European Union Biocidal Product Regulation (EU 528/2012), commonly known as the BPR. The active ingredient in Ozo’s solutions is included in the BPR review programme as “active chlorine generated from sodium chloride by electrolysis”. Active chlorine is supported in the BPR Review Programme for existing active substances. As such, it is subjected to the transitional arrangements of the BPR allowing placing of the market under existing national legislation until such time as the active substance is included in the Union List of approved substances as specified in Article 89 of the BPR.
Ozo Innovations is included on the BPR Article 95 list as a participant on the Review Programme and an approved substance and Product Supplier for active chlorine generated from sodium chloride by electrolysis for biocidal product types 1,2,3,4 and 5.
As the UK plans to leave the EU, Ozo is monitoring the advice of the UK’s Competent Authority on the future of biocide authorisation. This guidance can be found here.
