Food hygiene and disinfection business Ozo Innovations of Oxfordshire, UK, which develops cost effective, sustainable infection control systems without the use of harsh chemicals, has appointed experienced CEO David Goosey to help grow the business, bring its novel technology to market and help businesses back to work post pandemic.
David Goosey has previously held a number of global roles working in the coatings and lubricants sectors for industry leaders such as Castrol, focusing on innovation in productivity, cost efficiency and sustainability.
“Joining Ozo against the backdrop of COVID-19 means that we have new opportunities to help businesses back to work,” said David. “It will be vital for all businesses to maintain strong standards of hygiene for their staff and customers and the Ozo team is already engaged with a number of facilities management companies to provide effective disinfection solutions.”

David recently led Nexcel, a fuel efficiency technology business at the forefront of BP and Castrol’s energy transition and sustainability strategy. Prior to Nexcel, he was Global Strategy and Transformation Director at Castrol.
He replaces Rowan Gardner, a biochemist and alumnus of Oxford University, who joined the business in October 2014 and who will now leave the company to focus on other interests.
